Organised Payroll Support for Your Business
Prime Regent handles the accounting side of payroll for businesses in Dubai and across the UAE: monthly salary calculations, allowances and deductions, overtime and leave entitlements, payroll journals and WPS preparation support. Payroll runs to a fixed date every month, and the work behind it needs to be equally predictable, accurate and properly reflected in the accounts.
Payroll is the one deadline a business cannot move, so the process behind it has to be dependable.
Prime Regent
Payroll Handled Accurately, Month After Month
Payroll carries more weight than most recurring accounting tasks. Employees notice immediately when something is wrong, corrections are awkward to make after the fact, and salary costs are usually the largest single expense line in the accounts. Add variable elements such as overtime, unpaid leave, commissions, air-ticket entitlements and mid-month joiners, and a routine calculation becomes something that needs proper attention every cycle.
Prime Regent prepares monthly payroll calculations, maintains salary records, produces payslip data, reconciles the payroll accounts and posts the resulting journals so salary and related costs appear correctly in your financial statements. We also assist with end-of-service and final settlement calculations, and with preparing the salary information required for WPS submission through your bank or exchange provider. Prime Regent is not a bank or an exchange house; our role is preparation, accounting and support.
How our payroll support is structured:
| Payroll Area | What We Manage | Benefit |
|---|---|---|
| Monthly Calculation | Basic pay, allowances, overtime and deductions per employee | Consistent, checkable salary figures |
| Employee Records | Salary history, joiners, leavers and contract changes | One reliable source for payroll data |
| WPS Preparation | Preparing the salary information required for submission | Smoother monthly salary transfers |
| Settlements | Leave salary, end-of-service and final settlement workings | Clear, documented exit calculations |
| Payroll Accounting | Journals, accruals and reconciliation of salary accounts | Accurate staff cost in the accounts |

How We Work
Our Monthly Payroll Cycle
Payroll follows a fixed monthly rhythm with agreed cut-off dates, so your team knows when to send changes and when the approved figures will be ready for transfer.
We record employee details, contracted salary components, allowances, entitlements and any existing arrangements, then agree the monthly cut-off dates and approval route.
Each month we collect joiners, leavers, unpaid leave, overtime hours, commissions, advances and any other variable items affecting the cycle.
Gross pay, allowances, deductions and net salary are calculated per employee, and the register is checked against the previous month to catch anything unexpected.
You receive the payroll register for approval, along with the salary information prepared in the format needed for WPS submission through your bank or exchange provider.
Payroll journals and accruals are posted, salary accounts are reconciled against bank transfers, and end-of-service provisions are updated where required.
FAQ
Payroll Questions Answered
Questions employers frequently raise about outsourced payroll preparation, settlements and how payroll connects to the accounting records.
Yes. We prepare the full monthly calculation for each employee, covering basic salary, allowances, overtime, unpaid leave, advances and any other agreed components, and issue a payroll register for your approval before anything is transferred. Payslip data can be produced in the format your business uses. The cycle runs to fixed cut-off dates agreed at the start.
We prepare the salary information in the format required for submission, so your team or your bank can process the transfer without reworking the data. Prime Regent is an accounting firm rather than a bank or exchange house, so the transfer itself is executed through your own WPS provider while we handle the preparation, checking and supporting records.
Yes. We prepare end-of-service and final settlement workings covering service period, accrued leave balance, notice arrangements, outstanding advances and any other agreed entitlements, based on the contract terms and records provided. Each calculation is documented so the basis is clear to both the employer and the departing employee.
That is the arrangement most clients choose. When the same team prepares payroll and maintains the books, salary journals, accruals and end-of-service provisions are posted as part of the monthly close rather than reconstructed later. It also means staff cost in your reports always agrees to the payroll register without a separate exercise.
Salary and related costs are posted through payroll journals to the relevant expense accounts, with net pay, deductions and any unpaid amounts carried to the correct liability accounts. Where you need cost by department, branch or project, the entries are allocated accordingly. The payroll control accounts are then reconciled against bank transfers each month.
